The semi-derelict former Seventh Day Adventist Church above the Forest Cafe was the venue for the Aurora Christmas Special. Eilidh McNair and Dan Smernicki created wall drawings and installations in the dilapidated balcony. A short film about Aurora was shown, featuring footage from the previous Aurora event in September. Ben Ewart-Dean presented a twelve minute film about Edinburgh-based musicians, which was followed by live performances from Usurper and Peanut.
